How to release a jam in your Jenn Air garbage disposal

• Turn off the garbage disposal and the water.
• Insert one end of the self-service wrenchette into the center hole at the bottom of the garbage disposal.
• Work the wrenchette back and forth until it turns freely for full revolutions in both directions.
• Remove the wrenchette.
• Reach into the garbage disposal with tongs and remove the object that was jamming the garbage disposal.
• If necessary, press the reset button on the bottom of the garbage disposal to restore power going to the drive motor.
