It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage bin is full.

Correct part, easy replacement.
The part fit perfectly - I've read stories about not getting the correct part when I researched what my options were. While all the other places that sell parts I never heard of, I know Sears. And, the other places that I plugged my fridge's model number into showed me an ice maker that wasnt an exact visual match. Sears had one that looked just like the one that I had. Installation was easy. The trick is defrosting the old ice maker (in my case, one huge chunk of ice) without defrosting your entire refrigerator. I figured it out - when the door closes it mates with vents in the inside of the refrigerator. That's how the ice maker gets cold. I covered the vents with packing tape and shoved a kitchen towel up into the ice dispenser so as to keep it open. The result was the in-door ice maker warmed up and a day later it was defrosted. As I said, replacing the ice maker was easy, just a few screws and a single wired connection to unplug.
