Ice maker AEQ73110210 includes the ice mold and the control device.
The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage bin is full.

Hooked up and it seems to be working good, but notice an extra piece that turned out to not actually be an extra piece. I didn't really empty out the box completely before starting to install it, had everything hooked up but couldn't figure out why one of the sensors didn't seem to be very secure, that's when I emptied all of the remaining package bubbles out of the box when a little white plastic piece feel out. Turned out to be a piece that the sensor attaches to and that's why it would never really secured properly. Not wanting to be with out ice again I just jury rigged it, hopping it will last.

Broken and Dirty
Already returned... you would think they would cancel the review email... First unit did not fit even though the website confirmed it would. This one was the right unit, but was broken and dirty. Obviously had been returned previously. Serious QC issues with this group.

Part did not fit our refrigerator. Your representative told us this was the replacement part. It is not compatible and needs to be returned. Terrible chat service.
