Refrigerator Compressor TCA38151706

I did not install this unit, but waited 3 weeks for service from Sears Service. It needed an additional part, which the Sears parts department service employee wisely told me, was also necessary. The very competent Service Man installed both units in a very complex installation process needing specialty equipment for installation. The parts necessary were shipped to me and arrived four days after I called. The parts department personnel was extraordinary and most helpful in explaining what had happened to my 7 year old refrigerator. It appears that these “energy efficient” appliances lack any of the longevity of the older refrigerators. I will be going through this again, it appears.

it was just like any other compressor to install did add a new dryer. and normal evacuation time. the rewrite down load had some issue . all in all i was able to get it loaded. cooling just fine .

was not told that a special JIG was needed to program the new compressor, so had to buy it on line and wait another three days. this needs to be up front when purchases are being transacted.

Bought the compressor, brought it all the way to argentina and was not able to install it because it needed an update. This should have been clear and should be sold together.

Sucks I still have not been able to use because the wires weren't in the box. So still no Refrigerator.

The compressor got to me damage one of the suctions line was defected and bend so he the technician said I would have to contact sears for a new one or have to try to see if i can get a welder to see if they can fix the issue for me. I am contacting you with regards to the compressor. please see pictures attached, after waiting so long without a refrigerator, i have to endure this delay again, it has been my second time changing this compressor, AND THIS IS REALLY STRESSFUL, please let me know what you are willing for me to do, are you coming to give me a part refund let me get the wielder to fix this. I await your response.

I purchased he compressor ahead of time so the repair man would have it site. The part that was sent from Sears parts direct was a used part. I was very upset.
