Ice maker was not that difficult to install. First, Unplug Fridge, shut off water line to the fridge and remove Ice bucket. You then have 5 screws holding the whole unit on the inside of fridge door to remove. Once you take the screws out, you have to unplug the whole unit from the inner fridge door. Once the whole part is out, you then take the Ice Maker off the fridge insert. The Ice Maker then only has two screws holding the unit to the fridge door insert. Then just go in reverse to in stall the replacement Ice Maker. Connect the plug to the Ice Maker and then Mount it to the door insert with the two screws. Then take the insert, with Ice Maker attached and plug the main connections back into the fridge door. This is a little tricky, since the connecting wire harness is short, but you can squeeze you hand in behind it to plug it in. Once everything is connected, line up the door insert with the screw holes, making sure the water outlet is aligned with the ice maker. You then screw the whole unit back onto the inner fridge door with the 5 screws removed first. Plug the fridge back in and turn the water back on. To get any air out that may be in the water line, just take a glass and fill it with the fresh water outlet till it runs smoothly. It may sputter a little bit till all the air is out. Now just wait for the Ice maker to start making ice. I waited till it filled the ice bucket to make sure it shuts off automatically when bucket is full. It does.
