Samsung icemaker
Received my part fairly quick. Pretty easy to install. Lots of YouTube videos out there to guide you. Most important thing to do is completely defrost the icemaker first. There can be alot of ice especially at the rear of the icemaker. This will make it difficult if not impossible to remove it. With all the ice gone it will be fairly easy. New icemaker has been working great for about a week now!

Easy to install after watching youtube
Watch this video before installing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89RPiWxBcCg I had to unplug fridge (for more than 24 hours) so ice would melt so we could take old ice maker apart.

Ice maker blues
Our ice maker start freezing up and dripping water a year after the purchase of our refrigerator. That was 2018 this is the first time since then that I have not had a paper towel under my ice maker to catch the water. Yea!

Horrible experience this is not what I needed
I am not a DYI er when I ordered the part through sear home warranty service (don't ever get suckered into that!) I thought they would come put the part in when I got it....NO they don't do that. This has been a horrible experience from beginning to end. I have ice maker inerds that I have no idea where to even start.

Very easy to replace & install
Was having issues with my ice maker constantly freezing so I searched it up and ordered a replacement through Sears parts. Came within a few days. Very easy to replace. No more freezing.

Stay Away
It's not in stock anymore, even if they say it is. The warehouse continuously sends out the wrong part and you have to call back continuously to get the right one and continuously return the old one until finally someone tells you the part doesn't exist.
