Refrigerator Air Damper (replaces W10837808, W10869522) W11164593

Need some input!

Easy to install but not sure yet if this part is working properly. It sometimes makes clicking noises, like the old part was doing constantly. I would like some feedback from other customers who own a Whirlpool Model WRS571CIDM01 to see if this is a defect with this particular refrigerator model

It was the correct part and fixed the problem as needed

SIMPLE

Simple. One bolt, pull old unit out carefully. Disconnect electrical connector and install new unit by reversing procedure

part needs replacing every two years

Easy install. Poor product, cheap part for a $100.00 fridge.

Quick and Easy

Took about 10 minutes to replace. One screw and a plug.

No instructions included

The diffuser motor was emitting a high pitched whine while the fridge door was open, and items on the top shelf were getting frozen indicating a stuck open damper. When I received the replacement, I was surprised there were no install instructions or receipt. You must have a 1/4" nut driver to remove the hex head screw securing the plastic cover. Replace the unit, then the cover. (Pack your patience trying to realign the screw).
