The temperature sensor must be spliced to fit. The kit includes the temperature sensor and 2 splice connectors.

NOT the right part!!

Although this is the part shown on the website, it is NOT the right part. Had 3 different repair companies come out to install, they ALL said it was not the part for my Kenmore elite Model 106.51772510. Very, VERY disappointed. Even the repair companies order the part from their distributors and it's WRONG. What gives, SEARS???

Wires didn't match up exactly so caps wouldn't work. Had to use wire. Not easy at all. Not sure if the part is the exact match.
