Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly (replaces W10251076) WPW10251076

The ice maker was an easy install. I put my stopwatch on it and had it done in 32 minutes although it felt like 10. The wire harness was identical as well as the clips and bracket. I believe that anyone could do this if you simply take your time, however brief. Don't forget to turn it on!

It took less than 30 minutes to replace. There is a sensor on the bottom that did not come with the new unit, so had to transfer the sensor to the new unit.

Could not find any where installation instructions

Had Sears repairman come out to give estimate to replace the ice-maker. With parts & labor it was almost $600! Decided to do ourselves and thankfully we did. Ordered part from Sears Parts Direct for $150 after tax & shipping and installed ourselves in less than 15 minutes after reading the article on their website. Just need some basic tools. Very easy, save your money & do it yourself.

Took every bit of 3 minutes to install. The install is similar to plug and play on your accessories for a computer.
