Hard to Find Item Works Perfect!
Part was for a very old Weider resistance weight machine - I wasn't even sure I could still purchase a replacement part. After an hour on-line I found the part on Sears and the price was very, very reasonable. Shipping speed was good all things considered. The part is a little tricky to install, but that is due to the machine configuration. The threaded end is narrower than the original part, so I had to scramble to find a compression nut the correct size. Once installed, my old Weider gym is working great again!

Took a long time to ship, but worth the wait
I was working out on my somewhat old weider weight machine when the upper cable snapped. Looking for replacements on other websites, the cable was priced 5-6x higher than I paid here. It did keep getting back ordered and took about 6 weeks to show up from when I ordered it. But it was brand new and the exact part I needed. I am totally fine that I had to wait since I saved over $100 on the part itself. I am planning to replace the lower cable as a preventative measure and I will absolutely buy it here.

Easy installation.
The long cable was slightly shorter than my original which is more than 20 years old, but using a long nut instead of the original nut solved the problem.
