Great part, works perfectly. However, the website had this weird spot where you could check to see if the part was compatible and the site said it was not. Not sure what to do to fix that but wanted to point that out that it works!

Perfect swap for a commonly failed part.
Perfect replacement for CX 920 elliptical machine and best price around. Easy install (the only difficulty was the build/design of the machine, not this part). Worked flawlessly.

Poor Design
The tension motor is designed to pull repeatedly on a cable while holding the cable sleeve stationary by means of a small plastic bracket. The bracket is too weak and suffers fatigue failure. I have had the motor replaced twice. The first time it was replaced under warranty by a Sears technician. The disassembly of the bike housing involved several screws and spring clips.

Perfect Fit!
Although it said it didn't fit my NordicTrak 9.5i, it was a perfect fit and worked flawlessly. It took more time to get to the motor than it did to change it out.

Taking apart the elliptical took longer than unsnapping and resnapping the motor in.
