After cleaning off that shelf, I was easily able to screw on the new drawer hanger using a Philips head screwdriver, slide the shelf back in and slide the cheese drawer right back in its spot. For those who are wondering, yes, this one is the right one that is in the middle of the fridge and not the one by the side (so right when looking into your fridge). People must break it pretty often from the number of reviews! The part came quickly so our suffering without the drawer was quite short.

After the 2 attempts of trying to receive the right part, the Right Hanger fit perfectly. It took about 30 seconds to replace.
