Fit just like original the hardest part was getting all the new wires re- taped in the housing

Sadly this ice marker was part of an awesomely spacious ergonomically designed refrigerator ...that had a 3.7 yr shelf life. Kenmore Elite Mdl 795.73025 died. We thought when the ice maker quit that was the extent of the issue. But when the repairman said the coolant had all leaked out and to replace was upwards of $1,200, we had to return the ice maker and buy a new Refrig.

No issues installing at all. Wish I'd have gotten the full unit again this time but didn't. Turns out it not the ice maker but the Ice Fan causing the issues. Of course can't find that on Sears Parts Direct. I have to find an LG model one to switch out.

Sears Appliance Rep diagnosed problem as faulty ice maker, orderedI a new ice maker and my problem was solved.

My Sears home warranty I spent $50 a month on for a year wouldn't cover repair. Cost me $75 for visit. They wanted $500 to fix it. I ordered the part $150 for $150 fixed 30 minutes.

It took me longer to figure out what had to be dismantled. If I have to do it again it would most likely only take 20-30 minutes

My ice maker was leaking water...and freezing up behind the tray. Replaced the part in about 10 minutes. Problem solved
