I hope I never have to buy this part again - old washer
The washer we purchased the part for is 17 years old. We were really pleased to be able to get a part at all. The washer should fall apart before we need another.

Kenmore Series 500 Washer Water Level Switch
Washer water level pressure switch worked out perfect for my top load Kenmore 500 Series Washer Machine!! This was so easy to replace after watching a few youtube videos, which it took about 15 minutes to replace. My old switch the stem broke off and I'm happy I was able to replace this part immediately. The part took less than a week to arrive (order the part on a Sunday and the item arrived on Saturday).

Easier than I thought
In all fairness, I looked at a video that was on one of the other sites that had the part listed for sale. That made installation a snap, I would have struggled without that. The part worked as advertised.

Easy to install.
Comes with instructions but found videos on u Tube first that showed how to open washer control panel so was able to make sure could get to switch as well as know was correct part needed before ordering. Found other places could order from but felt most comfortable getting from Sears PartsDirect and price was comparable.
