Drum Support Shaft - Holes not threaded

Because the screw holes were not threaded this was very difficult to install.

You will need a impact driver and the right bit to get the screws through the holes. They are not threaded and it is some hard steel to go through. So run your screws through before you install the part and it will make it easier. Once that is done, the rest was pretty easy. I also added some grease to hopefully help the part last longer.

Just what i needed

Ordered this for my stacked washer and dryer. this part was exactly like the one on my dryer that broke. You need two people to do this job. I removed the top and front and disconnected the belt through the access panel on the rear. took about 2 hours but saved a few hundred dollars having someone do it for us.

Very easy installation

Easy to install, hardest part was taking the dryer apart. I did not have instructions so removed a few pieces that were not necessary. But all-in-all the whole process was easy and saved me a lot of money.

Dryer work again!

Took dryer apart, ordered the obviously broken parts, put back together in short order, and it works fine.

no screws

as most do, you look at youtube to figure out the install and it said screws came with...of course an assume is made. the nonsense is that sears direct will sell you screws for $8.50 each. $25.50 for the set of three!? a quick visit to the big box HW got the same for a buck. This was a big deal because the old screws were too small. so a little disappointed felt like the McDonald's business model. the biggest profit margin for years was the added cheese.

Bearing and shaft for Kenmore drier

Easy installation one note I was able to install without accessing rear panel to take belt off of tension pulley. Killed circuit breaker then from front pulled back on pulley arm and removed belt this allowed me to fix without pulling washer/drier out from right corner!
