"Use the old grease"
The part is fine and seemed to fix our issue. One part of the instructions includes "using the old grease" to lubricate the new part. The old grease on our machine was very tacky and borderline hardened. Using it was not an option. I ended up using brake caliper grease (mine said it was safe for plastics). Seems to work well. Our constant unbalanced load issue has not fully gone away, but has drastically been reduced.
