Rotor position switch 7145186 fits on the side of the cam and gear and detects the position of the rotor valve.

Fits Kenmore water softener models 625348600, 625348670, 625388400, 625388450, 625388460, 62538846003, 625388480, 62538848003, 625388800 and 625388880.

Also fits Whirlpool water softener model WHES40 and Waterworks model WS2000.

Switch was located on top of water softener and that made it very easy to install. Just two phillip head screws holding it in place.
