Need Roller Only - No shaft

I'm giving this a 3-star rating because the items I received were not the same as what is pictured. I only needed the rollers but what I received was the rollers on the shafts. They could not be separated. It was fine for the front rollers because I could remove the shafts from the collar assembly, but not for the rear rollers. I could not access the back of the dryer to remove the rear shafts. Since the existing front rollers were fine, I put them in the rear and then replaced the front rollers (and shafts) with the ones that were sent to me.

Roller assembly

This part works, but I received an entire assembly of wheel/shaft/bearing/washer/nut. I only needed a new wheel

Dryer Roller Assembly

My dryer came with p/n 4581EL3001, I purchased and installed p/n 4581EL3001E. This was an easy repair. I replaced the front two rollers although only one was bad. If you need to replace the two rear rollers it is a little more involved because the tub will have to be removed. My part arrived two days later than originally promised. My dryer operates great, very quiet.

I didn't find any special time saving tricks to installing these rollers. My best advice is to spend the money and buy the better quality version of these rollers. The closer you can get to an OEM part, the longer it will last. I made the mistake of buying a much less expensive set of rollers for my first attempt at repairing our dryer. They lasted less than a year. The original set of rollers lasted over 10 years. That says a lot! I hope this set will give us several years of trouble free service. Cheaper is rarely better!

The new support roller was not interchangable

Once dryer was apart..I discovered the back roller was even harder to get at so swapped a front support roller to bad back roller and installed the new part - which had a different size shaft - on the front. All back together now and working fine. Whole process took 6 hours.
