Easy install
This spring is not the same as original. Original spring was bigger diameter and much stiffer. This spring attached much easier then original. And this spring has more give in it. I suspect the original spring snapped because it was so stiff.

Easy installation
Replacing the spring on the deck was easy enough. The main thing is to ensure that the belt is in correctly. I would recommend wearing gloves as well as it is easy to pinch your fingers while putting the belt back in place!
