Good to have when replacing gear case
Pretty easy to install. The outer metal ring that secures it in place kind of tough to get on but you'll appreciate it once it's on. I recommend replacing the slider if you have to replace your gear case. The spring can get worn out over time so it's just smart to install a new one if you are doing this much work.
