Steering shaft retainer clip
Super easy installation. No need to remove the deck and jack up the mower. Just remover the gas tank and install.

It did the trick
I couldn't find good instructions. I finally did it by turning the steering wheel about 90 deg, pushing the peg in with one hand from the bottom, and pushing the hook end back with the other hand from the top
