Exact replacement
Hard to locate the spring attachment location, couldn't find in my manual or online. Had to look for slight wear marks on tractor.

Vet difficult to install
I had to use a come-a-long hooked to the bumper of my truck,scotch the tires on the mower and used a 3/16 diameter cable with a loop in it to stretch the spring on hook it. You will have to take the hood off and remove the muffler guards to access the hole in the frame to pull the cable thru. Have a shop do this unless your an engineer

Idler arm return spring
Spring is very stiff and difficult to install. Needed to rig a long wire to stretch the spring to the end connection point
