Great replacement for rusty top

Great replacement part for my rusted out top that was starting to bleed rust into my clothes. Installation is difficult, much more difficult than I thought it would be. I spray painted Rust Oleum appliance paint for on the part to hopefully protect against future rust.

Magnetic screwdriver Pliers (I used needle nose) A zip tie disconnect power Pry sticker off of side of the glass top to remove the screws and remove the door first. Makes the top easier to move. Pay attention to which screws go where Cardboard and a pen as you can press the screws in to the cardboard and mark location with the pen

Top replacement took about two hours to do. All of the electronics panel had to be loosened apart and a hose to the bleach dispenser had to be disconnected along with the door lock. It was worth all work because the top panel was badly rusted around the bleach dispenser and now its like brand new.

DIY that requires patience and evidence pictures

The part was exactly what we needed. I gave it 4 stars only because of the difficulty level. Replacing this required taking off the top part and disconnecting electronic cables as well as various hoses and the lid. This is also a bit more time intense than we thought it would be. I highly recommend taking pictures of connections and placement of parts prior to taking it apart as that will help with the reassembly.
