Fairly easy to install
I took time to do it right. Needed a good socket to unscrew the fan from the motor shaft. I spent a total of about 2 hours doing this including cleaning all the 14 years of lint dust from the dryer, but everything was straight forward to accomplish.

R/R Dryer Drive Motor
Pretty straight forward. Never had to tackle a dryer repair before but I would consider myself above an every day diyer. Just remember when removing the fan that it is left hand threads. I also had to put some blue loctite on the fan when I reinstalled because it wanted to continuously spin off. After that all fine. Other recommendation is pull the drum out. It will save you a lot of frustration.

Smooth quiet operation... my dryer is like new!
I purchased these parts after diagnosing that my motor had seized. I also found that the unit needed several other parts to restore proper function. Note to others: the fan shroud housing was locked onto the old motor shaft. I ended up breaking that plastic part trying to remove it. Check this before ordering just the motor as you may need one. Also the drum guide is the same part number times (2). I only bought one thinking it came with both. Great parts and service!
