Icemaker for LG and Kenmore Elite
This part was an exact OEM match for the Icemaker in my Kenmore Elite refrigerator. Installation took about 15 minutes, and most of that time was removing the food items for the freezer. There are three screws total. The two on top just have to be loosened about 1/4 of an inch, and the screw on the bottom of the icemaker needs to be removed completely. The first cubes dropped about 6 hours after completing the work.

Performs As Expected.
The unit is an ice maker and so, yeah, of course it is expected to do just that ...make ice. In our case (with a fridge that has a bottom freezer drawer) the time consuming part was removing contents of the bottom freezer and then removing drawer/door to get access to the ice maker. There are plenty of YouTube videos to show you how to do this.Then of course putting everything back together. Otherwise the installation of the actual ice maker unit is 'very' simple and probably would take less than 5 mins.

Ice Maker shipped damaged
The ice maker was damaged to the extent it would be inoperable. I am not happy especially after emptying out the freezer to facilitate installation.
