Creative part replacement

I needed a slide for the right side freezer top drawer. That part is no longer available anywhere. I ordered this left side slide and transferred the slide to the right side plastic housing.

Order screws with the new side rail

The installation of the freezer side rail was super easy. But when you order this part, be sure to ask for the three screws that secure it in place. I had to use the three screws I took out with the broken rail. The new rail did not come with any screws.

The perfect fit!

The installation was very simple. After removing the old part and installing the new it took only about 3 minutes to install 3 screws. It would of been quicker if I had a powered screwdriver.

Easy to install

While it was easy to install the part, working with the online staff can be a problem. We ended up communicating with Sears on 4 separate occasions. 1. Incorrect part sent, provided extremely detailed information and receive the part for the wrong side of the freezer. 2. second part sent was broken and required replacement prior to installation. 3. the 3rd part had loose screws which my husband tightened. Finally installed and it works beautifully. 4. credit received for 1st part excluded the shipping. the error was on the part of the staff member assisting me. Hopefully will receive the additional $10 credit on my credit card. Sorry no photos.
