Takes time but cheaper than a new weedeater

This started because the priming bulb wouldnt draw suction anymore. Couldn't tell if it was a clogged carb or fuel filter assembly. Vacuum was drawn without fuel, but with fuel it wouldnt work. Ordered the replacement because I couldn't get either a filter or carb rebuild kit individually so it was a new carb assembly. Install of the carb is straight forward. Getting the fuel line in the tank and threaded in the hole was not. Had to pull the barbed filter off and pull the gas tank off. A little grease on the hose and pushing it in from outside the tank worked well. I pulled the fuel line out through the top of the gas tank and reinstalled the filter/pickup assembly and reassembled the entire thing. It started right up and worked fine. All in all, about 40 minutes start to finish to do this job and I kept a weedeater that I like.
