New Gasket that's easy to install

Replaced today in about an hour. Solved my leaking air in issues. Very easy to do yourself. It's a lot of screws but simple and easy.

Refrigerator gasket

It is a lot harder to install then the video we watched showed. Practically had to remove the door to install it. We got it on though, so, it still was a lot cheaper to buy the part than it would be to buy a new frig or hire someone.

crimped gasket

The gasket was poorly packaged. There was a 3 inch "wad" which would not allow the gasket to seal the door. The ice froze back immediately because of this crimped gasket allowing air into the freezer. I used a hair dryer to heat up the gasket and help prevent the air flow. It is better but not great. Now I will have to defrost a full freezer...again. Not happy about that! When I had to replace this gasket I realized that was my original problem, too. The gasket on the freezer I purchased was also crimped and allowing air into the freezer which of course caused ice to form.

Leaves gaps

Easy install but the reason I replaced was for a gap. Now, I have gaps. They are smaller but more plentiful. I have had to shim them closed with shishcabob skewers. It has been 1 week and many have closed but now all. One large one remains on the lower right. The overall gasket seems less thick than the original.

Wrong part sent twice!

Installed gasket, 3 inches too large, freezer continues to form lots of ice inside.
