Reviews

Still waiting for the right part had to return the one sent.
August 25, 2023

Was sent the wrong part number for freezer gasket and once again had to return and start of new order. Just found out today that there was no grey color for the left door, so need to have all 3 gaskets now in white. Spoke to Caylor, 8-24 and she said a request would be put in to change the colors to white (so at least they will all match). Nothing to install yet, still waiting for parts.

Wrong size recommended by customer service
May 30, 2022

I was told by a support person on the chat that this was an acceptable replacement for my freezer's door gasket, which is no longer made by Sears. She assured me not to worry, that it was compatible. However, it is far too big and now I have to go through the hassle of returning it. I'm not happy. Why don't you list the dimensions of these gaskets on your website? That would have saved me a lot of trouble.

Easy installation

The gasket form, fit and function are perfect. No tools needed for installation, just a flathead screwdriver to remove the old gasket. The only reason I did not give five-star are (1) The color of the gasket is light grey, vice the original being dark grey. (2) The shipping package was in very bad condition when if arrived.

Wrong part - 9 inches too wide
September 25, 2021

This was the second part number sent out to replace my old gasket. Both times the chat person assured me that this was the correct gasket for my old freezer, but could not provide me with dimensions. At least this one was larger than my original so I plan to cut it down and use a little glue.

Freezer door gasket
January 13, 2020

The part functions as designed. I was worried when the box containing the freezer gasket arrived because the box was bent and torn. Fortunately, the gasket was undamaged and fit the door properly.

Very simple installation

Due to a move, our fridge was in storage in a hot climate during the summer months, (Phoenix). The freeze was constantly having frost build up issues. Due to the storage, the freeze gasket was noticeably flat and was most likely allowing some leakage. Replacing the gasket was very easy. Removed the eight screws holding the freezer door to the brackets, then the gasket simply pulls our of the channel it fits into. Using finger pressure, the new gasket is pressed into place. The entire process took less than 20 minutes.
