The switch replaced a switch no longer made, so I was hesitant but once I received the part, even though it looked different it had the same electrical connections labels stamped into the plastic. My burner now works correctly.

EASY TO INSTALL
INSTALLING THE SWITCH WAS EASY AND QUICKLY DONE EVEN FOR A NOVICE DYI. INSTALLING THE LABEL DECAL OVER THE CONTROL AREA OF CLOCK AND OVEN CONTROLS WAS A DIFFERENT STORY. I RECEIVED THE WRONG DECAL LABEL. IT WAS BLACK WHEN OURS WAS WHITE; NOT A BIG DEAL, BUT IT DOES NOT ALIGN WITH OUR PRESSURE TABS. WE ARE MAKING ADJUSTMENTS TO MAKE IT WORK. IN ADDITION THE FRAME TABS WHICH HOLD THE MOTHER BOARD WERE BROKEN ON ONE SIDE SO HAD TO BE REINFORCED WITH WASHERS TO PRESS THE FRAME TO THE BOARD SECURELY AS POSSIBLE. IN THE END IT WILL WORK WITH ADJUSTMENTS.

Replacement switch not the same
The replacement switch was a little different from the original part. The terminals were configured labeled differently than the original switch that I removed from the range. So, I had to call for a virtual technician in order to find out how to hook up the wires. Cost an extra $40, no instructions for installing the new switch were included with the package or on the website. But the virtual tech had the right info and I did install the switch in about 15mins.

Wrong part, three times wrong part
I'm not very encouraged, I've gotten three switches and they are all the wrong part and I gave the last man the part number so am about ready to give it up with Sears parts direct, I have had the assistance of three persons, I did not do this on my own
