Ice Maker Grid Cutter Had Wrong Connector
The grid cutter that we purchased for our ice maker was listed as a substitution for our particular model of ice maker. However, the electrical connector was not the same as the original part. Time was of essence, so I had to cut the connector off the new grid cutter and attach the connector from the old grid. The new grid worked fine, but you shouldn't have to do this to a new part! That said, I've had good luck with Sears Parts Direct and will continue to use them in the future.
