Very Easy to install.
Very easy to install. One bolt to remove, slide on skirt to 2nd bolt (not removed) put 1st bolt back in and you are done. Less then 5 minutes to install.

Goog to fix.
Easy, just take a rear wheel off either L or R unscrew bolt attach skirt from either side bolts mount it and redo, that's all.

Safety Skirt Poorly Designed
This safety skirt doesn't glide on the lawn when pulling the mower backwards. It buckles underneath causing it to crease and eventually tear off over time. I've been without for about 10 years because the Sears store where purchased couldn't figure out a replacement. Recently, the parts department helped me find a replacement while replacing a different part. The new skirt needed to be altered to attach to the mower. I had to drill holes as it came without, and had to carve out portions so the skirt would sit properly. I expect that it will wear out in the next two years just like the original one, because it's in the way again when pulling the machine backwards. It might stay out of the way if the deck is at the absolute highest level. I've never used the mower at this level because the grass doesn't grow that high between regular mowings.
