Fit like it should
Only the 2nd time I have had to change this belt since I purchased this tractor in 1995 , so even thought I think the price at 70.00 is high , guess that's pretty good wear .

The right part for the job
Having typed in the model number of my Sears tractor (located under the seat) it became very easy to get the part number and to order the belt. The belt arrived in just a few days. Fortunately there is a sticker with a diagram of the routing, and I had the advantage that the old belt was not gone completely, so I could see how the belt was positioned. I had put the tractor on blocks, so it was relatively easy to lay down under the tractor. Putting the new belt in place had it's challenges. At various places there are pins to guide the belt. However there is not enough space between the pulley and the guiding pins to slip the belt in place. I had no choice but to lightly bend the pins, in order to make a bit more room to pass the belt in place. That was the only difficulty I faced. The belt is in place now and works perfectly. I now realize that I should have replaced it a bit earlier, as there was a lot of wear visible on the old belt. In some places pieces of rubber were even missing. All told it took me an hour to get the job done. Had there been a bit more space between the pulleys and the guiding pins, it would not have been more than half an hour. My tractor is happily humming again.
