Self Propelled Craftsman drive cable
The cable was somewhat easy to install. I took watching a youtube video several times. Removing the old one was a little tug a war pull. I got the some help from my neighbor.

It was extremely easy to install.
I started with the removal of the hand lever control housing. Next remove the broken cable and assemble the new cable. Next remove the what is left of the old cable from the mowers base and run the new cable through the hole and attach metal offset wire through hole on plastic fitting. then re-install hand lever housing mower handle.

Trick to align attachment bracket.
The cable was relatively easy to install. The only difficulty was aligning and grasping the attachment at the end of the cable in order to attach it to the transmission. Once I taped it attachment bracket to the cable it was easily installed. I then removed the tape. The top end of the cable attached easily to the actuation mechanism.

Fairly easy to install, helped that I had taken a photo on my phone of how it was installed and the cable routing before I took it all apart.

Mower cable
The part number and pic were correct and detailed very well on the web site. Unfortunate they were not the same as to what they sent me. QC must be lacking the part looked nothing like the pic.
