Part Information
Ice maker AEQ36756918 includes the ice mold and the control device. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage bin is full.
Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Good but too expensive
I am very pleased with the new ice maker. It was very easy to install. I am very disappointed in the price. It was very expensive and I feel that it is outrageous that you charge thus much for an ice maker.

Good replacement but beware!
Replacement was easy to install and works great initially however this is the third time we had to replace it on our 2010 Kenmore Elite refrigerator so it pretty much will last about 2-3 years then stop working. Way overpriced for the lifespan but still less than having to replace the whole refrigerator.

Easy to install.
It was easy to install, but I was disappointed that you didn't include a receipt just incase something was wrong. Luckily everything worked out fine and it is making a ton of ice.
