Parts quality and service quality

The part was an exact duplicate but there are 4 hose connections and a water feed connection 8 electrical connections. It is a very tight space. As suggested I "mapped" out and marked all the connections before dismantling and many of the connections could be made before the new valve was permanently screwed in place. It was still a challenging installation although I have been a Journeyman Plumber for 50+ years. The part price was the cheapest I could find, and, in addition, I received 10% off the purchase price which just about covered the cost of delivery. I ordered a new solenoid valve for one that was leaking on a dishwasher just a few days later and, although it was not delivered as quickly, who can blame them in these trying times. I'll definitely use this parts supplier for any needed parts in the future and will recommend them to all my acquaintances.

Exactly the part needed!

It took just over an hour to gather what I needed and install. Take a photo or lable everything before removing the old part as there are four separate hose attachments and four electric plug ins and all need to be reattached correctly.

When my water dispenser quit working, I researched on line and realized it probably the water inlet valve. I ordered the part and it came in about a week. I watched videos on replacing the valve. Of course, the parts were different but similar enough. The actual replacing was fairly easy after I educated myself.

Inlet valve asy.

Make a good map of where hoses and wires go. Remove clips from hoses. Push and hold connection flange into the valve asy. Wiggle and pull hose from asy. Depress wire connection clips wiggle and pull wires from asy. Reverse procedure to install new asy. USE YOUR MAP!!!
