Good hinge

Easy to install? However, one of the pre-drilled holes that attaches the hinge to the door was a little to big. A screw that worked in another hole would not tighten.

Kenmore Elite Hinge

The hinge on our washing machine broke and needed repaired. I order the part and received it in a week. Unfortunately one of the self tapping holes was too big and the screw just went through the hole without engaging or self tapping. I called service and they sent me a return UPS ticket and a new hinge. The second hinge arrived in a week and installed within ten minutes or the time to takes to remove the screws and put them all back in. I was able to find a video on Youtube so that made it somewhat easier. One nice thing was the replacement of the first hinge. No questions asked. A bit hard to communicate withe the non-english sales person but they finally understood what the problem was. Since Kenmore is no longer made, the hinge was replaced with a Maytag hinge and it fit just fine.

I saved a lot of money by installing it myself.

It does not come with instructions. Which is understandable. I went online and watched a do it yourself video. The part was exactly as it should've been. I'll be ordering in the future should I need anything else.
