Right part, high price
This simple light switch activated by the door began to fail after just a few years. I finally decided to replace it. I was unable to find the correct part number so I did eventually call Sears parts. They have the right part but it was two or three times the cost of others online. The salesperson did note that it was original equipment. That's true, however the original part only lasted a few years. The cost of the part plus shipping was nearly $50! $12 just for shipping. That's outrageous!

Now we have light!!!
We broke the little plastic switch that makes the light come on when you open the refrigerator door several weeks before we finally ordered a replacement part. It was reasonably priced and it arrived in just a couple of days. My husband installed it in just a couple of minutes and we are sooo glad that now WE HAVE LIGHT IN OUR REFRIGERATOR!

shipping cost is a rig off.
I bought a part for my refrg that only cost $20. Sears charged me an additional $10 just to send it by mail. Very small part that showed up in my mail box in small envelop. How can you charge such high shipping rates and such small parts??? Crazy!

The part works, but was very difficult to install
The switch works, but was very difficult to install. I repeatedly tried to push the part into the slot (where the former switch fit), however, I would not go in. So, I watched numerous YouTube videos to make sure I was doing it correctly. I was. Finally, I got my hammer and carefully hammered the switch into the slot in the frame. That worked... but the process took too much effort and should not have had to hammer the switch into the slot!
