Easy to install when you know how!
When I removed the non-functioning original switch I checked various online videos. All showed 3 wires and individual connectors. Well this switch now fits a 3 connector socket which seemed taped to the inside liner. The initial attempt to install only pushed the socket away from the switch. I cut a 3/4" strip from a old credit card and bent the last 3/4" to about 30 degrees. I slipped the strip behind the socket to hold it forward, then I inserted the switch and slid the strip out! Bingo. There should have been some instructions along with the switch! It worked perfectly.

Impossible to install
The issue was it came with no instructions and I was unable to find a way to remove the broken switch (multiple attempts) so I could replace it with a new one. Now I have to hire an appliance repair specialist just to replace a simple switch.

Whirlpool Door Switch - EASY to install!!
It was so ewasy to install it only took 5 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one!! The light came on once connected!! EAZY-PEEZY!
