Just pull open the drawer and move the slide release tabs (one side moves up and the other side moves down. This allows the two haves of the slide to separate. Remove the drawer. Separate the broken support rail from the side of the basket and remove the 3 screws that attach metal slide to the broken support rail. Attach the removed metal slide to the new support rail using the same 3 screws. Attach this assembly to the side of the basket in the same manner you removed the broken part. Reinstall the drawer back into the freezer compartment by aligning the metal slide on both sides. It helps to have a second person aligning one side while you are on the other side. The whole job took maybe 15 minutes. The person at the Parts Store was very knowledgeable and you can chat with him online to be sure you have the correct part.

I broke plastic drawer rails when removing drawer to de-ice freezer section. I ordered replacement parts which were reasonably priced and came very quickly. Replaced broken parts very easily - took about 20 minutes
