The steering link broke. The part is specific to Sears tractors and all local repair/service shops said I'd need to contact Sears directly. An Internet search brought me to your site. Everything on your site was incredibly easy and straight forward. Once I knew the model number of My lawn tractor I found the part in seconds and had it ordered. Arrived 2 days later. The actual repair took 5 minutes.

simple steering link part
correct part for my older riding mower, the steering just broke and i thought oh no the steering gear but it was this part on the linkage, so far so good, big yard and i need my mower to work, thank you

took less than 10 mins. Screw the ball joint onto the shaft first then bolt it to the arm. Done

Took longer to get tools than fix just don't move the nut screw on and will be close to alignment

Works as it should, perfect match!
Easy to install, just mark your threads before the ball joint. Try to match the old with the new. I used a little "white out".

correct part
Installed the new part in about 4 minutes. Old ball joint took about 25 minutes to remove (some folks report longer). I had to return an OEM ball joint that didn't have the correct bolt threading. Sears sent me the correct part. Thank you!
