Gas valve (part number 5221EL2002A) is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some Kenmore 795 series and LG gas dryers.
Gas valve 5221EL2002A controls the gas supply for the burner assembly.
To check the valve, unplug the dryer and shut off the gas supply and measure resistance of both gas valve coils. Replace the gas valve assembly if your meter measures more than 2,500 ohms of resistance through either valve coil.
Leak check gas line connections after replacing the valve assembly or have a service technician complete the repair.

Great OEM replacement
Exactly what I needed. This part took about 45 minutes to install since you basically need to disassemble the entire dryer, but was extremely easy after watching a video on youtube. Pricing on this part was excellent compared to some places.

I would use Sears Parts Direct again
Part was exact fit and I received it on time. The Sears parts direct DIY. Videos were extremely helpful. Problem was solved and I got my Sears Elite dryer working again.
