Briggs & Statton Vacuum Hose 844526

I Can't Rate Any Lower

Wanted a Shop Vac Hose replacement for my Craftsman Shop Vac. I still have the owners manual with the model number and part numbers. I was on the chat line and the employee promised me she had the correct hose to send to me. This went back and forth as I wanted to make sure I was getting the correct hose. She quote me the length about 7ft and the diameter of 2 1/2 inches. She stated the part number was not the same as in my Owners Manual but assured me over and over it was the correct hose. She had a foreign accent. SO, the hose arrives. It is a vacuum hose for a Briggs and Stratton engine of some sort. The diameter is not even an inch and it is about 5 inches in length. Now go try to call one of their numbers listed. I finally get to talk to someone with a heavy accent and hard to understand. He says he has the right hose and gives me the number. SO I look up the part number while on the phone and it is not for my model. These people will tell you anything to get you to order and then they just disappear. Really a pathetic operation! I use to buy all kinds of Sears Craftsman's tools, but will never use this company again.
