Pandemic-related backorder aside, this was a successful result of a DIY project to replace my broken broiler element. Best to take off oven door to reach all the way back. Second set of hands helpful to hold element up while working small screws.

Right before Christmas the top oven element started sparking. Had service people come out but they brought the wrong part, said 7-10 days. Ordered the right part from SEARS on 12/22 and it was delivered on Christmas Eve (day) just as they had estimated. Saved Christmas Dinner. Thanks.

Had to crimp one end as it was a loose fit, kept falling off. Thankfully lead didn't fall back behind insulation. after that, was able to complete and seems to be working OK

This product arrived earlier than promised. It was very easy to install. It only took approximately 25 minutes to remove the old broil element and install the new one. Following the installation, I turned the broiler on and it has worked perfectly.
