Easy to install, beats buying a new washer
The repair only took about 30 minutes. The largest part of which was related to releasing the clamps under the front display and unscrewing the upper back panel to access the part. After that it was much like hooking up a computer to a printer. We unhooked the old one and connected the new one using cables that are very distinct so your risk of mis-connecting is very low. I highly recommend this if you had a power surge and lost your electronic control board. If you are not sure how to access enter the part number and the washer name into you tube search for excellent videos on this topic.
