Hose replacement
Easy to install. Works. The problem is the hose is too long so it doesn't stay attached to the vacuum when I am using it as a stand up vacuum. It flops off of its holder and there is nothing I can do to remedy it.

Anyone Can Install This
This repair was super easy. I'm glad I decided to give it a try rather than pay $100+ at a repair shop. Seriously, if you can work a screwdriver, you can make this fix - I had it finished in 3 minutes.

Damaged product
This part was purchased to replace a cracked hose on our vacuum cleaner. When we removed it from its bag, my husband noticed that the 2 "tabs" that attach a vacuum accessory to the vacuum cleaner, and just happen to be on this part, were bent, broken or damaged. Fortunately we were still able to change out the hose, and there was enough of the "tabs" left that the accessory stays attached. Sears should make more of an effort to either examine its products before they are shipped out, or if this was a returned item, more closely examine the return. Since we able to use it, it was not worth paying for shipping to return it. But for over $60. we shouldn't have received damaged goods.

Breaks easily.
This is the 2nd replacement hose that I have had to buy for a 5 year old Kenmore vacuum. The price is outrageous too, so I am not impressed.
