Disappointed how SEARS has given up on its history
My Sears Vacuum, is 16 years old. Getting someone to help getting the filters you need for your vacuum "It takes Vacuum motor safety filter, and and HEPA exhaust filter They sent me a 4pk. exhaust filters. that were humidifiers filters. Third party, NO NAME, Took a week for them to contact me. NOW after a 10.00 shipping charge on an item for 8.99 weighs less than a half a pound. WRONG ITEM. I HAVE TO SEND IT TO THIS THIRD PARTY, AND RE-ORDER (iF IN STOCK). WILL TAKE ANOTHER 10 TO 21 DAYS TO GET STRAIGHTEN OUT. REMEMBER FOLKS SEARS IS SENDING THEIR JOB OVERSEAS. NO WONDER THEY DIDN['T KEEP UP WITH TECHONOLGY. I HAVE TO LOOK ELSEWHERE, SUCH AS AMAZON TO FIND MY PART. OR LOWES.(LOCALLY DIDN'T HAVE IN STOCK.) I was raised on Sears, bought from sears. MY appliances are 20 years old. or older. Getting parts was a piece of cake back in the day, NOT anymore.
