Great Replacement Part

I purchased this part to replace my molded boot that I had for 13 plus years. I cleaned it regularly but realized there were some areas that were hard for me to reach and needed to be replace. It was easy to identify the part I needed and it shipped fast.

Purchase the tool!

Make sure you purchase the tool for replacing the spring on the washer door boot. It would have made the installation much easier!

Washer door boot installation

Old boot had become damaged and was leaking water from the front. Ordered the boot, followed online instructions (YouTube), and had the replacement completed in a couple hours. No more leaks!

easy to install

Be careful of the ports, I do not have a lower drain hose, but the one sears has for my model has a hole for a le drain hose, didn't notice until it eas installed. I had to seal it up.

Kink in Boot

The boot had a kink in it so I am afraid that it may leak some day. So far it is working but I don't know for how long.
