Help of you tube it solved noise problem but hd to end up calling technical person from seats due to insufficient cooling. They ssy evaporator leaking. Just had compressor replaced 5 months ago. Refrig 6 years. Kenmore make with LG parts. Beware of what you buy

Following a YouTube video is pretty good until you are down to the back wall of the freezer compartment. You have done the sensor removal but then how do you get the back wall out which has the evaporator motor attached to the back side? Get a bungie cord like you would get for a bike. Carefully hook both ends through the vent holes in the top center of the wall. Keep the hooks as far apart as possible. Pull easily but steady. The top of the wall should pull away toward you. Then remove wall and make the repair. I have taken the fan blade off the old motor and used on the replacement motor. That is up to you. It fits tight on the motor shaft. The best way to remove for me was the blade of a pocket knife between the fan blade and motor. Place the knife blade so you can pry up on the fan blade along the motor shaft by turning your wrist as you pry. It takes a couple trys but eventually comes off. As always you make the decision to apply these options to your repair job. These saved much frustration on the repair job for me. Good luck.

Shipped used part...eventually resolved!
I preface these comments by stating the problems I had were with the supplier. The first item received was obviously used, from the grease on the fan to the torn and open packaging. I was required to return by UPS requiring an unexpected trip to one of their business centers. Although I had paid an exorbitant shipping fee for an expedited delivery, nobody wants to wait for parts while your refrigerator is down! The replacement didn't arrive for 5 days after my complaint. When I asked for a refund on shipping I was offered a reduced rate to the standard rate! Needless to say I told them I'll let my credit card company fight it out. They came around to my way of thinking after that. The new part that arrived was relatively straightforward to install and seems to be working perfectly.

Refrigerator evaporator fan motor
Hello, I did not receive the right part (evaporator motor), even though I put in the right model kenmore elite refrigerator 795.72483.411 in the Sears parts direct website search and it showed that I needed EAU61524007. I disassembled the kenmore elite refrigerator unit to put the part I received, EAU61524007 (evaporator motor) in the fan assembly located at the back of the freezer. When going to switch out the old part I noticed that the plug was different. In fact, the part required is a different OEM altogether: EAU63103204. I will need to send the part I received, EAU61524007 back to you and get the actual part I need, EAU63103204.

Troubleshooting and packaging
My problem is not so much with the part, but with your diagnosis. Yes, the error code indicated a motor problem, but there were other possibilities. I will be talking to your technicians today about what the real problem is. AND, you shipped this part in a box without any packaging. I think a delicate part like a motor should have at least some.

Once again, Inread the error code to the sales manager (ER RF). Once again, they sent a part that does not fix that error. I am never buying a Kenmore or Craftsman product again, nor am I ever contracting with Sears again, since they obviously have zero interest in providing customer service on their own products.
