It was easy to install the hose from underneath rather than open up the front and back covers. Place washer on pedestal and work from opening from below

Very easy to install

The design of the original house rubbed on the tub so it wore a hole in it, same on the top hose (behind the detergent tray) , you might as well change both at the same time I had to, they both rubbed against the tub and both had holes wore in them. The new hose has a better design to prevent the rubbing against the tub.
